'Behold, Damascus will Cease from Being a City' - Isayah 17:1

Isayah 17:1. 'The burden of Damascus: Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city; it will be a ruinous heap.'

This is a future prophecy. Look for it; It will come to pass. We're printing it now so when it comes to pass, you will know that it was prophesied and yes, the scriptures foretold it.

'Burden of Damascus' means the pronouncing--the pronouncement, the prediction against Damascus, this great city. Damascus will actually cease from being a city.. it will be turned into rubble or, as scriptures say 'a ruinous heap'. Damascus is going to be totally demolished. Amman is going to be demolished too. Israel is going to take the land over to the Euphrates River. (another future prophecy) Damascus is a hot spot in the news, it's the largest city in Syria... and they are in a war.

The thing about prophecy is that you may not believe it. However, it is written and whether you believe it or not, it will come to pass.

These news articles are the lead up to the total obliteration of Damascus.

Well, we could go on and on about Syrian conflict but the one scripture should suffice. All you need to remember is two things: (1) Scripture foretold Damascus being destroyed and (2) We told you
