Explaining Why There is War in the Middle East
Do you want to know why the Middle East is a hot spot for war right now? It's in prophecy. That's why. Going to try and make explanation as simple as possible so, let's get at it!
You need to know THREE scriptures. Here they are:
(1) Revelation 6:8 - 'And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat upon it was Death; and Sheol; the grave, followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword (that's war), and with hunger, and with pestilence'.
The important part here is 'a fourth part of the earth'.
Now, you have to go to another scripture to get the clue of WHERE that fourth part of the earth is.
(2) Revelation 9:14 - 'Loose the four angels who are bound in the great river Euphrates!'
'Bound in the great river Euphrates' doesn't mean they are actually bound in it. The correct Hebrew translation explains it as 'bound for it; bound in that area, bound to this region.' The angels are powers.. they represent the UN, the EU, US and Russia.. same powers you see in the news today. The area is in and around the great river Euphrates. That's important because now you know exactly which fourth part of the earth where there will be death.
(2) Revelation 9:18 - 'By these three were the third part of men killed: by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone'. That's a third part of men killed by war. That's what 'fire, smoke, and brimstone' means. It's not nuclear war yet because scriptures also describe nuclear war which we will bring out in another blog. Yes, there will be nuclear war.
Keeping it as simple as possible, these 3 scriptures say this: 'These 4 powers have been commanded to take the lives of 1/3 of the people over a 4th part of the earth in and around the great river Euphrates'. That is the Middle East.
